How we work
We're a small team, and that shapes everything below. We take on fewer clients than a team our size could, because this work doesn't get better by adding account managers to it.
Four stages, start to finish.
We look before we propose.
Before quoting anything, we go through your site the way Google reads it and the way a client reads it: what's indexed, what isn't, what each page is trying to say, and where people give up. It takes a few hours and costs you nothing.
You get a plan, not a pitch.
Within a week you receive a short document: what we'd fix, in what order, roughly what each stage costs, and what we'd expect it to change. If the honest answer is that you don't need us yet, that's what it will say.
The work is done by the person you spoke to.
We work in agreed stages, so you can see progress and stop at any point. Nothing is subcontracted without telling you, and nothing goes live without your sign-off.
We measure, and we report in plain English.
One page a month: the terms we're tracking, what moved, what didn't, and what we're doing next. If a number went down, it will be on the page.
What we don't do
- We don’t promise first place. Nobody controls Google's results, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something.
- We don’t sell backlink packages. Bought links are the quickest way to lose the rankings you already have.
- We don’t lock clients into long contracts. If the work isn't earning its cost, you should be able to stop.
- We don’t report on impressions and reach when what you wanted was enquiries.
- We don’t take on work in fields we don’t understand well enough to write about credibly.
Who you'll be working with
AWM is a small search and content practice working with businesses in Cyprus. It is run by people who spent years building and operating businesses of their own — in logistics, recruitment and e-commerce — before doing this work for other companies. We've sat on the client's side of a marketing invoice, and we write with that in mind.
Where a project needs a specialist we don't have in-house — a Greek-language writer, a developer — we bring one in and tell you exactly who they are.
